1. Introduction
Welcome to United States Auto Transport. By using our website and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before booking our services. If you do not agree with these terms, you should not use our services.
2. Definitions
- "Company" refers to United States Auto Transport.
- "Customer" refers to any individual or business that books auto transport services with us.
- "Carrier" refers to the third-party transport providers contracted to transport vehicles.
- "Vehicle" refers to the automobile being shipped through our services.
- "Bill of Lading" refers to the official document issued at pickup and delivery detailing the vehicle’s condition.
3. Service Agreement
By booking auto transport services with United States Auto Transport, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information about the vehicle and shipping details.
- Ensure the vehicle is ready for transport at the agreed pickup location and time.
- Remove all personal belongings from the vehicle unless specifically agreed upon.
- Pay the agreed-upon service fees as outlined in the booking confirmation.
4. Pricing & Payment
- Quotes provided by the Company are estimates and may be subject to change based on market conditions, vehicle condition, and other unforeseen factors.
- A deposit may be required to secure a booking. The remaining balance must be paid before or upon delivery unless otherwise stated.
- Payments can be made via credit/debit card, bank transfer, or other approved payment methods.
- Any outstanding balances must be settled before the release of the vehicle at the delivery location.
5. Vehicle Condition & Inspection
- Customers must ensure their vehicle is in operable condition unless otherwise agreed upon.
- Vehicles must have at least one-quarter (1/4) tank of fuel for transport.
- The Customer and Carrier will conduct a pre-transport inspection, and any existing damages will be noted on the Bill of Lading.
- Upon delivery, the Customer must inspect the vehicle and report any new damages before signing the Bill of Lading.
- Any claims for damages must be filed in writing within 48 hours of delivery with supporting photos.
6. Pickup & Delivery
- The Company provides estimated pickup and delivery dates but does not guarantee exact timelines due to weather, road conditions, and other unforeseen circumstances.
- Customers or their representatives must be present at both pickup and delivery locations.
- If the Customer is unavailable at the scheduled delivery time, additional storage or redelivery fees may apply.
7. Cancellations & Refunds
- Customers may cancel their booking by providing written notice at least 48 hours before the scheduled pickup time.
- Deposits may be refundable based on the cancellation time frame but are subject to administrative fees.
- No refunds will be issued once the vehicle has been assigned to a carrier.
- The Company reserves the right to cancel any transport order due to unforeseen circumstances, and in such cases, a full refund will be provided.
8. Liability & Insurance
- All Carriers are required to maintain adequate insurance coverage for the vehicles they transport.
- The Company's liability is limited to facilitating the transport service and does not include responsibility for damages caused by the Carrier.
- In case of damage, the Customer must file a claim directly with the Carrier’s insurance provider.
- The Company is not liable for any personal belongings left in the vehicle.
9. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
- Providing accurate pickup and delivery details.
- Removing personal items from the vehicle unless otherwise approved.
- Ensuring the vehicle is in good working condition (or notifying the Company if it is inoperable).
- Notifying the Company of any modifications to the vehicle (e.g., oversized tires, lift kits).
10. Force Majeure
The Company shall not be held liable for delays or failures in service due to acts of nature, government restrictions, labor disputes, accidents, or other circumstances beyond our control.
11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be settled through arbitration or legal proceedings in the applicable jurisdiction.
12. Changes to Terms & Conditions
United States Auto Transport reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Customers will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
